Fernando Rennella M.D.
Dr. Rennella is a Florida State licensed physician, who graduated in his native country of Ecuador, from the prestigious Central University of Ecuador, with a Doctorate Degree in Medicine and Surgery. After passing the ECFMG Exam for Foreign Medical Graduates, he then trained at Miami Children's Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the University of Miami School of Medicine. At the completion of his training, he was named Chief of Residents at Miami Children's Hospital. He took his FLEX Board and Pediatrics Board, and became licensed in the US and Florida, as well as Board Certified in Pediatrics. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
After many years of practicing and teaching Pediatrics, Dr. Rennella was accepted and succesfully completed two years of training in Interventional Pain Management and Facet Therapy, with Empire Medical Training, the premier training group in this field affiliated with the American Academy of Family Practice Physicians. After the completion of his advanced course, Dr. Rennella went on to become an instructor for Empire Medical Training, teaching physicians in such respected medical centers as Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York, and Long Island Jewish Hospital. Dr. Rennella has most recently taken part in an advanced Pain Management Injection Training course, sponsored by the University of South Florida, given by the renowned Dr. Edward Chen.
Dr. Rennella has over seven years of experience in Interventional Pain Management and Facet Therapy. He has performed over 20,000 of these injection procedures successfully, and has never had any complications.
